    Daedric armor guide

Post by GriMw0lf on Thu Nov 24, 2011 5:00 am

List of items needed for a full set of daedric armor (Weapons not included)

      17 ebony ingots
      10 leather straps
      5 Daedric hearts

    Getting ebony ingots:

Step 1: Go to Narzulbur there is a Ebony mine there with enough ingots to make a full set + a weapon and enhance 4 of them. You can get 2 more ingots from the General store in Whiterun.
    Spoiler:

Step 2: Locate the mine, it is to the right of the Orc camp, go inside, find a pickaxe and dig up every Ebony ore vein you see.
    Spoiler:

Step 3: Smelt it into Ebony ingots. Do NOT give it to the Orc blacksmith. Mines to not get more veins. Once its depleted, that's it.
    Spoiler:

Step 4: Buy 2 ingots from the General store in whiterun (Or a blacksmith/any general store that has them. Whiterun just seems to have it more often, and he seems to have 2 at a time a lot, but I found 6 at the sky forge. so who knows)
    Spoiler:

    Getting Daedric hearts:

Easiest way is to go to the mages guild ( College in winterhold ) and buy it from a guy (I forgot his name) who sells 2 every 48 hours. I don't know if you have to actually join the college, but i'm pretty sure you do otherwise you cant get in. You also have to talk to him outside of his room part of a quest/request one of your guild mates asks of you ( Getting back his pendant.) Otherwise you cant buy from him. He then tells you to go to his room whenever you want to buy something.

If you don't want to, then here is a list of where to find the hearts ( No screenshots, there are too many for that, and I already got all the ones I know about)
    Spoiler:
All alchemist vendors will have a chance to have Daedra Hearts once you reach level 25 and also rarely as early as level 4
Sometimes Hagravens will have Daedra Hearts on their corpses, but rarely
Kill a Lesser Daedra and loot its heart:
Malyn Varen, the final boss of the Azura Shrine quest line (The Black Star) summons 3 Daedra mages during the fight and each one has a heart that can be looted.
Kill Velehk Sain instead of taking his treasure map, in the midden dark underneath The College of Winterhold (get the key in the room with the gauntlet statue, go to The Arcanaeum, use the key on the investigators chest, loot the rings, go back to the midden dark, place the rings on the hand, and choose to fight Vehlek Sain)
One at Hall of the Vigilant directly south of Dawnstar and near Red Road Pass.
One at Jorrvaskr (The Companions' headquarters in Whiterun) in the room next to Kodlak Whitemane's bedroom. It is between the desk and the adjacent end table. Respawns occasionaly.
Two in the laboratory at Nightcaller Temple overlooking Dawnstar to the east. Can only be found during, or after, the Waking Nightmare quest.
Four lesser Daedra in and around the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon (after quest [spoiler]) they respawn each week.
In Sinderion's Field Laboratory in Blackreach, below Alftand (main questline).
Inside Driftshade Refugee located south-east of Dawnstar. Inside an Apotechary's Satchel on a shelf amidst a lot of ruined and burned books. **May be random or a mistake, some players have reported finding Briar Hearts instead of Daedra Hearts.**
The Thieves Guild fence in the College of Winterhold sells them to you after he has been unlocked.
Enthir in the Hall of Attainment (College of Winterhold) sells two at a time and will restock every two days. He must be approached first and then met in his room (2nd floor, 1st room on the left).
One at Drelas' Cottage . Kill Drelas inside the house, and he has a chance to drop a Daedra Heart . Drelas' Cottage is located south of Morthal, in the gorge between the two mountains. There is also a chance to find one in one of his cabinets, chest, etc...
Babette in the Dark Brotherhood will have one of the hearts.
One inside the apothecary's satchel located in the cellar of Anise's Cabin (may appear randomly)
After completing Recipe For Disaster, a random traveler will say hes gathering supplies in hopes to share a new recipe with the Gormet. If you still have the right of passage, you can show it to him and he will give you a daderic heart along with some other thing. (Found him traveling southeast of Whiterun.)

Step 1: Go to the college of winterhold.
    Spoiler:

Step 2: Go to the Hall of Attainment. Its outside in the College's courtyard.
    Spoiler:

Step 3:The guy you are looking for is on the 2nd floor in the first room to the left. Ask him to do business, and he always has 2 hearts every 48 hours.
    Spoiler:

    Happy crafting!

Nah, what I'm saying is you copied from IGN, then again it hardly matters.

If you say so.. I've honestly never seen an IGN walkthrough for Skyrim, and the only copied information on here is the Daedric hearts locations since they were already on the Skyrim wiki. This is based entirely on my own experience in the game, nothing else.

I don't care if you believe me or not, that's your problem. But don't post false-information. Your opinion is just that, your opinion. Lets keep it that way.

Calm yo nipples. I'm not showing any hate whats-o-ever in my comments. It's just what's on my mind and what I think, belief or not has nothing to do with it just that I've seen something like this on IGN. That is all. Good job for the guide anyway.

I just don't appreciate being accused of stealing. Hate or no hate.
